Meet the Occupational Therapist behind Within Reach OT
Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how a rheumatological condition can affect far more than the physical body. Everyday tasks became increasingly challenging, hobbies changed, and things many of us take for granted became sources of frustration, anxiety, and loss of independence.
I saw how deeply a diagnosis could impact someone’s confidence, identity, and quality of life. But I also came to understand that a diagnosis does not have to define who you are or take away the things that make life meaningful.
This experience shaped my passion for occupational therapy and my desire to support people living with rheumatological and autoimmune conditions.
I recognize that navigating these conditions can feel overwhelming, particularly when symptoms are complex, support is difficult to find, and explaining your lived experience repeatedly feels exhausting. I endeavor to bridge that gap and provide personalized, practical support that recognizes the whole person and their aspirations.
My goal is to help others continue doing the things that matter most, maintain their independence, and live a meaningful life alongside their condition.
